ＦｒｅｅＢＳＤのインストール
1.1
自分のコンピュータのハードウェアを調べる。
ＦｒｅｅＢＳＤのインストール作業を始める前にハードウェアの事を調べる。
ＰＣの構成は ＣＰＵ（シーピーユー、Central Processing Unit - セントラルプロセッシングユニットは、プログラムによって様々な数値計算や情報処理、機器制御などを行うコンピュータにおける中心的な電子回路）とメモリ（ＣＰＵが直接読み書RAMやROMなどの半導体記憶装置）とデバイス（コンピュータ内部の装置や周辺機器 ＣＰＵやメモリ、ハードディスク、ビデオカードなでコンピュータを構成する各装置や、キーボードやマウス、プリンタ、ディスプレイなどの周辺機器）を動かすＦｒｅｅＢＳＤで使用するソフトデバイスドライバがある事を確認する。

起動ディスクをつくる

インストール事態は、disk1 でできます。 ダウンロードしたファイルはＣＤイメージファイルなので
ＣＤに 焼きこんで インストールディスクをつくりましょう。
6.3-RELESE-i386-disc1.isoのはいったＣＤをＣＤから起動できるようにＢＩＯＳの画面で設定をして起動します。

ACPIとは パソコンの電力制御に関する規格の一つ。OSがBIOSと連携してコンピュータ内部の各パーツの電力を管理するための統一された方式

ここの設定は、ミスをしないように 気をつけましょう。 出来ればすべてをＦｒｅｅＢＳＤにする事をお勧めします。

Aキーは、windowsの領域を全て消してしまい。FreeBSD領域にしてしまうために、windowsを
残そうとしている人は、特に注意をしてください。
設定を終了したら、q を押してつぎのboot選択画面に移ります。
ブート(boot) とはコンピュータを起動すること。また、人間がコンピュータに電源を投入してから、操作可能な状態になるまでに自動的に行われる一連のコンピュータが行う処理。

自分でパテーションを作成する時は上の
Disk: ad0 Partition name : ad0s1 Freeのところにカーソルを持っていき cを押します。
容量 パテーションタイプ、マウントポイントの順番に答えていきます。

You can cut and paste text in the text console by running the mouse
demon. Specify a port and a protocol type of your mouse and enable the
mouse daemon. If you don’t want this feature , select 6 to disable the daemon.
Once you’ve enabled the mouse daemon, you can specify “/dev/sysmouse”
as y our mouse device and “SysMouse” or “MouseSystems” as mouse
protocol when running the X configuration utility (see Configuration menu).

UNIX OS では、ファイルやプロセスの所有者を識別し、そのファイルに対する使用権限を判別するために利用する。
